What if you could scan your website/blog and generate a list of unique words? Those words would be excellent candidates to put into a password blacklist.
Zerex can scan your website or blog to a specific click depth. In other words, it will follow every single link on your homepage and follow links on those pages until it reaches the click depth specified. Most sites have a good design such that a user never has to click more than 3 times to navigate all of the information on the site.
Zerex builds a list of every word on every webpage. It removes any duplicated words. It can also remove common words based on 3 lists. One wordlist is a list of 10,000 common words from MIT. This will remove generic words like "the", "to", "of", etc.
Once complete, you have a list of words that are usually pretty specific to your company, products and industry. These same words are words that your users are inclined to use within their passwords. You can take the list generated and add it to the nFront Password Filter dictionary file. This will reject passwords that contain any of the words within the dictionary file.
